Dr. Cathy Gaston
Cathy Gaston is a native Mississippian. She earned a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology with a minor in Special Education, Mastered of Education and Bachelor of Art in Psychology from Mississippi State University. Dr. Cathy Gaston served as the Deputy/Early Head Start Director of Friends of Children of Mississippi, Inc. for ten years. In February 2021, she became the Executive Director for Friends of Children of Mississippi, Inc. (FCM, Inc.)
FCM, Inc. is a 501C-3 private, nonprofit, tax-exempt human service agency, proving the highest quality comprehensive early childhood development services and a broad range of services to children and their families in a 20-countywide service area.
Dr. Gaston is a driven, organized person who’s philosophy is to develop improving relationships with staff, parents, children, and community partners that ensure children and their families are prepared for the future.
