Family and Community Engagement
The Family & Community Engagement Program is devoted in its mission to empower parents giving them the tools needed to ensure that the family – Parent(s) is the primary educators of their child/ren. Services provided are: parenting skills; advocacy building; financial literacy development; education attainment; job skills development; and parents as community engagement. How do we do this? Through the Parent Family Community Engagement Frame work. Working with each parent/family from a tailored, individualized plan, parents/families develop skills in:
- Family Well-Being
- Positive Parent/Child Relationships
- Families as Lifelong Educators
- Families as Learners
- Family Engagement in Transition
- Family Connections to Peers and Community
- Families as Advocates and Leaders
Attaining these skills are built around one central theme, “SCHOOL READINESS” for children!
